AWANA is our local mission ministry not only to the children in this church but to all children in the community. AWANA runs from late September through April and is currently offered for children in Preschool(Age 3) through 5th Grade. 

Each AWANA night, clubbers participate in small group learning, game time, and council time where we have various adults teach Bible lessons.  During council time, we also enjoy singing and recognize clubbers who have earned awards.  The clubbers have the opportunity to earn “AWANA Dollars” throughout the year by completing their AWANA sections. There are special theme nights throughout the year (for example “Crazy Hair Night”) and the very popular AWANA Store twice a year, where the clubbers can spend their AWANA dollars.

Yearly dues are $15 for the first child, $10 for each additional child in the household. AWANA is each Wednesday evening from 6:00 till 7:30 at the church. Leaders are always needed – please contact Ron Russell or Pam Russell if you would like to become an AWANA volunteer leader, and be a part of this great ministry to children in our community. If a rushed supper is an issue, come at 5:30 and eat with us!

RVL Discipleship (Season 3) - In this video-based series that will take us through May,  Bible scholar Ray Vander Laan helps us examine what it means to be a follower of Christ through the cultural, historical, and otherwise contextual lens of Scripture.

Talking with Your Kids about Jesus. Homes where deep and meaningful faith conversations happen regularly aren’t the product of lucky parents. They’re the product of intentional parents who believe nothing is more important than raising kids to know and love Jesus. This 6 session series offers parents tools and encouragement for creating low-grade, consistent efforts to clarify who Jesus is, why he matters, and how kids can live impacted by their faith in him. This class is facilitated by John Lorenzen and Pastor Don and meets in the Community Room. Starts on March 16.

Children's Sunday School Classes - 9:15 AM

Preschool through Grade 5(meeting in room by the restroom hallway)

We use the "Truth:78" (Formerly "Desiring God") curriculum.

On major holiday weekends there will be NO Sunday School

Nursery

Available during Sunday School and the Worship Service for little ones from Infant—Age 2.

 Children’s Church

Meeting in room by the restroom hallway

Available for children 3 years old through 5th grade during the sermon.
Children are dismissed at the end of Worship in Singing. We use "The Gospel Project" curriculum.

On major holiday weekends there will be NO Children’s Church.
