AWANA is our local mission ministry not only to the children in this church but to all children in the community. AWANA runs from late September through April and is currently offered for children in Preschool(Age 3) through 5th Grade.

Each AWANA night, clubbers participate in small group learning, game time, and council time where we have various adults teach Bible lessons.  During council time, we also enjoy singing and recognize clubbers who have earned awards.  The clubbers have the opportunity to earn “AWANA Dollars” throughout the year by completing their AWANA sections. There are special theme nights throughout the year (for example “Crazy Hair Night”) and the very popular AWANA Store twice a year, where the clubbers can spend their AWANA dollars.

Yearly dues are $15 for the first child, $10 for each additional child in the household. AWANA is each Wednesday evening from 6:00 till 7:30 at the church. Leaders are always needed – please contact Ron Russell or Pam Russell if you would like to become an AWANA volunteer leader, and be a part of this great ministry to children in our community. See you there!

If a rushed supper is an issue, come at 5:30 and eat with us!

Sunday School

Adult and Youth Sunday School Class – 9:15 AM

Theology for the Rest of Us: Have you ever wished you had a more systematic understanding of your faith but have felt intimidated by theology textbooks or taking a seminary class? If you have, we have just what you're looking for! We are currently working through a multiple-part systematic theology class during the adult Sunday School hour. Pastor Don and Chad Williams are co-teaching this class, which focuses on the Doctrine of the Word of God. We are using Wayne Grudem’s Systematic Theology, Second Edition as our basic text. All are welcome to join us for an exploration of the core doctrines of Christianity.

Children's Sunday School Classes - 9:15 AM

Preschool through Grade 2 (meeting in room by the restroom hallway; Teacher: Shari Clemsen - He Established A Testimony) - Young children will explore God's greatness by noting key themes found chronologically throughout the Old Testament

Grades 3 through 5 (meeting in the downstairs classroom; Teacher: Donna Wood) - In the Beginning....Jesus).   The Bible reveals God's redemptive purposes, which find their fulfillment in the Person and work of Jesus. This exciting study takes students through a chronological journey through the Bible, looking for key "clues" that point to Jesus and His death on the cross.
