Adult Ministry
Women's Ministry
Our GracePoint Women's Ministry Team exists to give women opportunities to grow in faith, service, and relationships by cultivating a culture of community and connection. We encourage our women to live life together by mentoring one another, studying God's word, and serving our church family and Atlantic community.
Our three areas of ministry include:
- Spiritual Growth - provides Bible study opportunities for women
- Care Teams - provide for the physical and spiritual needs of women in our body
- Community Outreach - provides opportunities for serving and sharing Christ in our community
You can find upcoming events on our events calendar. If you have questions please drop a note to our church staff.

Adult Bible Fellowship

Adult and Youth Sunday School Class
Adult Bible Fellowship at 9:15 AM - Advent: We know that the Christmas story, or Advent, is more than a sentimental myth or a quiet manger scene we use to decorate our living rooms. The Christmas story is the good news of God entering into our darkness. Join Pastor J.D. Greear in this short video series as we take a deeper look at Jesus as Emmanuel, our Wonderful Counselor, the Everlasting Father, and the great I Am. When we know Jesus, we recall that Christmas is more than a nice story—the arrival of Jesus changes everything. This class starts on Sunday 11/24 and meets in the main auditorium. Teens are welcome to join this class as well!
The Counter-Intuitive Parent: This five week class will explore parenting principles that may seem counter-cultural and contrary to our natural instincts. We'll delve into what God says about different aspects of parenting, offering a steadfast guide in an ever-changing world. This series covers crucial topics such as “What God Says” vs. “What the World Says,” the balance between being a Parent vs. a Friend, and the importance of Preparing our Children instead of Protecting them. This class starts on Sunday 11/10 and meets in the Community Room.
We also offer a children's Sunday School class at this time, back in the classroom in the south hallway.
Grades 6-11 Youth are joining the Advent study with the adults through December.
Care Teams
God has called us to care for one another. One practical way we have found for that to work itself out is through our Care Teams. Our care teams desire to minister to each other and the body of Christ in practical ways as needs arise. We invite you to find out more about this vital ministry of GracePoint Church.
