Women's Ministry

Our GracePoint Women's Ministry Team exists to give women opportunities to grow in faith, service, and relationships by cultivating a culture of community and connection. We encourage our women to live life together by mentoring one another, studying God's word, and serving our church family and Atlantic community.

Our three areas of ministry include:

  • Spiritual Growth - provides Bible study opportunities for women
  • Care Teams - provide for the physical and spiritual needs of women in our body
  • Community Outreach - provides opportunities for serving and sharing Christ in our community

You can find upcoming events on our events calendar. If you have questions please drop a note to our church staff.

Men's Ministry

Our heart is to see men flourishing by finding and living out their unique calling as a man, husband, father and each role we are called to. We provide many men’s and couples small groups. These are places for us to dive into good teaching, let down our guard, be real with each other. To get a list of the current small groups, please drop a note to our church office.

Small Groups

Our small group Bible studies and Sunday morning groups are a vital part of the life of our church. These studies take place throughout the year and at a variety of locations in people’s homes or at the church. Adult and Youth Sunday School Class

January 11th and January 18th - Thinking Biblically about Artificial Intelligence (AI) - Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming our world, including the church and local ministry. Join Chad Williams for this two-week mini-series exploring what AI is (and isn't), examining its current impact on ministry and churches, and developing a biblical framework for discerning when to embrace or reject this technology in ministry and personal contexts. This short ABF class is offered for all adults and teenagers…..

Starting January 25:

Young Families ABF Group - This group will be continuing with the Tech-Wise Family class that has been ongoing.  This group will be moving to new material in February - when a new class starts, it will be announced.

New Class for All Adults - “From the Rising of the Sun: A  Journey of Worship Around the World” - This ABF class will include a weekly video produced by Tim Challies and Tim Keesee.  Each week we will view worship practices in unique places around the world.  The worship practices are consistent with Scripture, but faithful to local languages, customs and culture.  Learn how Christians glorify God in places including Fiji, Australia, South Korea, Cambodia, Zambia, Poland, Morocco, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Alaska.  There will be time for small group discussions each week, and we will have the opportunity to discuss in light of our own philosophy of worship at GracePoint church.  This will be an encouraging class, giving us insights on how Christians all over the world are glorifying and worshiping the true God.

We also offer a children's Sunday School class at this time, back in the classroom in the south hallway.

Grades 9-12 Youth are joining the "From the Rising of the Sun" class with the adults. Grades 6-8 Youth meet in the downstairs youth room.

Care Teams

God has called us to care for one another. One practical way we have found for that to work itself out is through our Care Teams. Our care teams desire to minister to each other and the body of Christ in practical ways as needs arise. We invite you to find out more about this vital ministry of GracePoint Church.
